Ii̽chy Fik Vrët

Ii̽chy Fik Vrët (/ji̽c/ /fik/ [tropical] [spike]) is a subtropical Town located in Jangzejo Zone, Vrōzftor Diocese, within the Covenent of Irus.

The name Ii̽chy Fik Vrët is derived from the Wood Elvish language, as Ii̽chy Fik Vrët was founded by Tsîd Gunvrish, who was culturaly Wood Elven.

Climate

Ii̽chy Fik Vrët has a yearly average temperature of 24°C (75°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a warm 29°C (84°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a cool 20°C (68°F). Ii̽chy Fik Vrët receives an average of 149 cm/y (58 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the spring. Ii̽chy Fik Vrët covers an area of nearly 6 km² (2 mi²), and an average elevation of 5982 m (19625 ft) above sea level.

Overview

Ii̽chy Fik Vrët was founded durring the late 13th century in spring of the year 1169, by Tsîd Gunvrish. The establishment of Ii̽chy Fik Vrët suffered from many setbacks, delays, and obsticles, most notably a group of Ii̽chy Fik Vrët which required millitary assistance exterminate before the community could finish being built.

Ii̽chy Fik Vrët was built using the conventions of Wood Elven durring the late 13th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Ii̽chy Fik Vrët is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Ii̽chy Fik Vrët is buildings are arranged arround a network of crampt baked earthen streets which form a diamond shaped grid, where each diamond verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller diamond has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The town sits behind a stone-renforced palisade wall, with stone gatehouses and timber drawbridges for their trench. The town's would-be-castle fortifications have recently undergone extensive repairs and renovations, such that the repairwork is imeadiently apparent and can be spotted due to the diffring ages of materials. One can't help but wonder what brought the need for those repairs to the town.

Ii̽chy Fik Vrët has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands. They are not to be confused with the Office of Civil Groundskeeping as they do not hold authority over nor responsibility for Ii̽chy Fik Vrët's natural decorations nor waterways.

Ii̽chy Fik Vrët is led by one or more incompetents. While they must have been very good at something to have acquired the position, they are fundamentally incapable of leading. Uncontrolled passions or lusts, commitment to a hopelessly impractical ideal, pigheaded obstinacy in the face of failure, a total lack of charisma or interpersonal skills, or profound laziness might all unfit them for their post.

Ii̽chy Fik Vrët's chapel was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is characterized by dynamic designs and complex architectural plan forms; intended to heighten feelings of motion and sensuality, and frequently based on the oval. It made extensive and extreme use of: Grandeur, Contrast, Curves and twists, Rich surface treatments, Gilded statuary, Bright colors, Vividly painted ceilings, Fragmented or deliberately incomplete elements, Large-scale frescoes, Dramatic central projections on an external facade, the use of plaster, stucco, or marble finishing, Illusory effects such as trompe l’oeil, and pear-shaped domes. While beloved by the nobility, the common folk tended to despise the style due to the massive consumption of resources required for even a small building constructed in this style.
